HI friends,

I was having really long, shiny and good quality hairs. It was my parents who use to take care of them, oil them , massage them, give herbal packs and never allowed me to use any shampoo till I think i was 18yrs.

After that , when my college started i use to go on for shampoo but i loved my hairs very much. I use to listen to my parents and use to apply and do all that was said and done. My father use to prepare shampoo at home with all herbal natural products like gooseberry, shikaki and all. My parents and my grand-mom too never liked me going anywhere with open hairs or just a single top knot. They always wanted me with my hairs tightly braided. My mom use to make beautiful fishtail and i miss it till date.

well, well, well, I am writing all this and sharing it with everyone out there because I still believe that if we use less chemicals and do less experiments on our hairs they will thank us. Now I am not with my mom dad and i dont even have the time to look after my hair that much so now i feel and see the difference in my hairs. I have lost the shine the length, the grace and the beauty . I have lost everything. I was known for my hairs and now i have lost them. I feel sooo soo sad and bad .

Last year my mom came to stay with me and when she saw the terrible state of my hairs she made a pack with henna base and applied . Then she use to massage me with oil , hot oil massage and use to give me a turban therapy. She made a shampoo also for me. OHH!!! I am missing her. I wish she can come for some more days to pamper me and my hairs and my skin too. well, she can't..., so let me write what she did.......

Here it goes, ........................

Take the exact proportion

  • Mix one tablespoon of Indian gooseberry or amla powder in two tablespoons of coconut oil and heat until boiling. Strain the oil and massage it onto your scalp before going to bed. The next morning, shampoo your hair as usual. I use to was my hairs with the shampoo made by her.
  • Do this on a weekly basis.
  • Another option is to mix one-quarter cup of warm water in one-half cup of Indian gooseberry powder and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Apply the paste on your hair and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing it off. Do not shampoo your hair for a few hours. Follow this remedy every few weeks.

You can start taking Indian gooseberry and its juice in your daily diet. She had made a Jam of it , a pickle of it had bought a bottle of juice so that i take it in one or the other form every day.

She also use to apply egg on my hairs but now I do this egg therapy only on weekends so that I dont have that beautiful fragrance of egg in my strands.

She use to beat two eggs and apply it on my wet hairs and let that sit for atleast half and hour. them i use to wash it with lukewarm water using my herbal shampoo. if you cannot make a shampoo you can use any mild shampoo or herbal shampoo. This is a protein treatment and it work wonders.
